Personally I don't know but I avoid that place like the plague. It's filthy and the help are rude as the day is long. If I spend $ I expect common courtesy and a clean place to eat.
Generally food is really good. Perhaps a bit salty some days. Restaurant overall needs a makeover with better service. Take out is better option .
Good food as usual with big portion. Price high.
I had the fried lobster the salt and pepper fried shrimp and the vegetable Spring rolls. I was there with about 10 friends celebrating a very special friends birthday. The food came fast and was delicious. We were a very overbearing crowd of people with lots of orders throughout our time there. They handled as best they could. The service I will give a 4 out of 5 stars but over all I loved it. Especially the fried lobster it was one of the best I've ever had. And all of the food had sufficient salt and pepper nothing bland on our table
The food was pretty good, but I couldn't shake the fact they were almost racist/rude to us, I'm assuming cuz me and my girl are white lol weird, but the lady gave us forks when we didn't ask, we set them aside out of the way. Waitress comes back with food, literally grabs the fork across the table, and shoves it into the food...moves chop sticks and spoon away...so me and my girl removed the forks again! And continued to eat normally...honestly felt racist. The other people they were serving were all asian, and being treated much much better, with smiles and laughs. That lady was really grinding my gears...and! We still left a tip they didn't deserve..
Best wonton noodle in East bay but is pricey
Good if you like hospital food. The noodle soups are ludicrously bland with no seasoning whatsoever, it is clear whoever makes them doesn't care one bit. The barbecued meats used to be the strong point here but even those have gone downhill. This place once was much better but has gone into major decline - the overarching sense I got this time around was that no one here cares any more about the food quality. We will never go back again.
Okay Chinese food, good selection and great service but greasy salt food
Pretty authentic Cantonese cuisine located adjacent to the 99 Ranch market. Their dishes come out piping hot, which is a basic requirement for any self-respecting Cantonese establishment. Huge portions, so order accordingly or you'll be taking home a bunch of boxes. Most dishes here are better eaten at the restaurants, with few exceptions leftovers usually aren't great.
It tastes like real Hong Kong style. I like it.
Yep, Chinese food. Had good food, used chop sticks, got a fortune cookie and was served by good folks. Guess I better go back.
Love their southern China coastal cuisine!!! Prices has risen through the years, but food is excellent! If people complain a bn out their food. Nothing will satisfy their palate😬
Fried rice was not good and mayo tofu had poor quality ingredients. Price was not cheap either.
Food was very good. Every dish was served piping hot and freshly made. Flavors were very good as well. Ordered Chinese soul food. The kind Mom used to make when I was a little kid. Clams in black bean sauce were really tasty, and so was the Rice Porridge. The mixed Veggies with Shredded Chicken looked just like the picture and tasted just as good. Also Dad ordered the won ton soup with noodles as he always does and he said it was his favorite and they didn't disappoint. Also had Winter Melon Stir Fry with black bean sauce. It wasn't on the main menu but on a separate sheet and It was pretty good.
Salt & Pepper Prawns, Sweet and Sour Pork Beef Fried rice !!!! Absolutely Delicious love the late night accommodation
Trasaaaaaash food and service. Absolute garbage, every dish.
Great food every time I visit here9 years of lunch and dinner here.Great help from the staff.Dine in and order food to go when done with my lunch or dinner.
Serve great fried tofu and noodle. Kind manager and great friendly service.
We had the chicken congee, chicken curry and wonton noodle soup. All was very tasty. The service was quick and there is ample parking, given that it is in a large Asian shopping mall. I was impressed by the variety of menu offerings. For lunch, they offer the standard rice plates, bbq duck and pork, dim sum , congee, noodles, ramen, etc. The portions are very generous and the prices are fair.
First time went there out of town good service food really good will gi back
I eat here a lot since I work in the area. I must say the service is always awesome and they keep the spot neat consistently. Pricing is convenient and they serve big portions.
Used to taste good. But this time I tried the shrimp and egg fried noodles, the gravy is too watery. The porridge is still very good which is smooth and tasty. The restaurant is a bit run down which needs some renovation.
Stopped here for their congee breakfast. Nice balanced flavors and generous portion including nice big chunks of preserved egg. The sticky rice dumpling was good. Service was sparse but I got what I needed.
Very pricey for average or below average food. Food isn't as good as before.
The food and service is always great! I love this place
I have been to Daimo three times and it's always been great. Food was excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful. Love it I'm definitely going to make it a regular dinner outing.
This place is worth giving a shot. They serve large portions for fair rates. Regularly well organized and with good vibes. Will come visit again.
First time here last night. I was always under the assumption this place was a Japanese restaurant, but I learned a couple days before eating there that it is in fact a Chinese restaurant. We had the hot and sour soup which was really delicious. It wasn’t spicy, but you will definitely notice the peppers used in the soup. I followed up with the stir fry Mongolian beef and sweet and soup pork. The dishes I had was average tasting. The prices are high, but the portions are enough to easily feed three people, hence the pricing. This place stays open until 3am so it’s a go to if you’re having a late night craving.
The cuisine excellent, the crisp pork was great. The chow mein was just right
The dishes are usually very delicious 😋. I liked their wonton noodle soup, BBQ pork/Oily chicken combo over rice. Good value.Updates on 2018-6-11:The dishes are delicious. But I think it’s time replace the worn and torn and greasy menus :( It was nearly unbearable to hold these broken menus and tried to figured out what to order.
Solid Taiwanese selections, lots of choices. The shopping plaza parking lot has a security guard.
Great service and open til 3am everyday it's amazing.
Great Chinese food and it is open until 3am. 🤤🤤🤤
Expensive, 2 chicken chow main and 1 Mongolian beef came up to 48 bucks. The next time i get a taste for Chinese food I promise I will not be going back there. 😡😡😡
Great Cantonese comfort food for takeout during covid rules. Call for free or order online for a $0.99 service charge and pick it up yourself. Been eating here for decades. Beef chow fun with chives is one of my favorites. Support your local independent restaurants if you can.
Good food, huge menu, friendly staff
Love coming here, great food, great atmosphere!
Late snack, like the Hong Kong style noodle soup, close at 3 a.m.!
We enjoyed a nice dinner with a large party and our friend ordered chicken, flat noodles, a seafood dish, eggplant dish, and a beef dish. Every dish was fresh and tasted great. The service was friendly and pretty quick.
Open 9a to 3a. Food comes out fast and hot. Always a great go-to and there are a few folks who have been there for years who are absolutely super and very sweet!
Not every dish is great, so you have to find what you like. The best thing about Daimo is that it’s open so late and you can always get some tasty noodles or pan fried goodies. Definitely a hole-in-the-wall vibe, but in the best of ways.
Love this place! The food is delicious and it's open late so you can go here for a late night meal. I highly recommend the Hong Kong tea and the mango jelly! Every thing was delicious but thouse two items were excellent!!!!
Food was okay. It was a little more on the bland side. Service was very slow. They had like two waiters that night. They open till very late thats why we came here. They do have a parking lot.
I'm a vegetarian, but my husband loves meat. The food was good overall.
Ordered a plate of fried rice with lower salt and just came like what I need. Service is bit better than "normal". Price is bit too high. 4-star, can come again~
Had good meal there with few fellow dancers after dancing at ballroom party!
Over priced, not worthy it
We had another wonderful meal here on Wednesday before the Warriors Game. All our favorites and we turned on three new friends to this location. Can’t get enough Salt & Pepper Calamari or the Seafood Wraps!! We love this place and highly recommend!
Celebrated my birthday there, the food is freshly prepared. My compliments to the chef.
Decent food. Price is a bit high compared to similar restaurants. Service is okay.
Very very very dirty. The dim sum we ordered is not fresh.
